Senators Murray and Collins Release Tentative Appropriations Subcommittee Hearings Calendar

(Washington, DC) – Today—following Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director Shalanda Young’s testimony before the Senate Budget Committee—U.S. Senators Patty Murray (D-WA) and Susan Collins (R-ME), Chair and Vice Chair of the Senate Appropriations Committee respectively, released a tentative calendar laying out Appropriations subcommittee hearings in the months ahead.
“These subcommittee hearings will provide an important opportunity for Senators to assess our country’s needs for the year ahead,” said Senators Murray and Collins. “We have an important responsibility to write our nation’s spending bills in a way that will build a stronger economy, make our communities safer, and ensure we stay ahead of competitors like China. Let’s get to work.”
The calendar below details the Appropriations Committee’s tentative subcommittee hearings calendar as of March 15. Note that this list is not final; hearings listed can and will change—and additional hearings may be announced.
