Chairwoman Mikulski to Hold Full Committee Hearing Tomorrow on Cybersecurity Preparation and Response
WASHINGTON, D.C.- Appropriations Committee Chairwoman Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.) will hold a Full Committee hearing tomorrow, WEDNESDAY, JUNE 12, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. on the cybersecurity threat. Senator Mikulski will focus on breaking down stovepipes between agencies and departments to ensure the federal government develops the right technologies and capabilities to protect our nation while also protecting civil liberties. She will also stress the importance of committee-wide and government-wide collaboration when implementing solutions to protect the American people.
