On Monday, Senate Republicans blocked a Leahy amendment that would have included funding for 2019 disasters. Release available HERE: https://www.appropriations.senate.gov/news/minority/senate-republicans-reject-leahy-amendment-to-provide-aid-for-2019-disasters

If Senate Republicans block the Leahy-Schumer amendment it will be the second time this week Senate Republicans have blocked funding for 2019 disasters, including those in the Midwest and Southeast, and continues their refusal to adequately address the needs of the American citizens of Puerto Rico and other territories.
